WHAT IS VIROKILL?

CenturyPly manufactures CenturyLaminates and Century Plywood using specially designed Nanoparticle-based Self Doctoring Surface Treatment against microorganisms through AAAA (A-4) complete safety protection mechanism.These particles are naturally antimicrobial, anti-fungal, antibacterial and antiviral. This technology has been branded as ViroKill. ViroKill products therefore, are able to kill 99.99% viruses.

In simpler words, when microbes, bacteria, fungus or virus comes in contact with ViroKill laminates or plywood, the highly activated and energised Nanoparticles rupture and kill them through contact killing mechanism. This ensures that your furniture and surfaces are always hygienic, safe and healthy.

• Effects of ViroKill lasts a Lifetime: Unless the furniture surface is not physically or chemically harmed, the effects of the ViroKill Technology do not deplete over time. As the nanoparticles are embedded in the polymer matrix system, your furniture and surfaces will be free from microbes, bacteria, fungus and viruses for a long time to come.

CERTIFICATIONS

Century ViroKill products were duly tested at one of the most renowned testing laboratories, the Biotech Testing Services (BTS) located in Mumbai. As per the standards, the following tests were carried out:

• Antimicrobial Efficacy Test (both Antibacterial & Antifungal Efficacy of specific microbes) has been done as per JIS Z 2801:2010 international standard.
  
  

• Antiviral Efficacy Test of specified virus has been done as per ISO 21702:2019 international standard.

The test results certify that CenturyLaminates and Century Plywood products made with ViroKill Technology have 99.99% efficacy against viruses. Viruses coming in contact with these products would have their cell walls ruptured and will resultantly be killed.

The process of the killing mechanism starts instantly and it may take a few minutes or a few hours to complete the process, depending upon the local configuration. 

Note 1: It is prudent to keep in mind that though the surfaces kill anything that comes in contact with it, it does not kill viruses in the air. 

Note 2: The thorough tests carried out suggest that Century ViroKill Technology is strongly effective against many viruses. However, currently there are no specific tests available for materials to be tested for COVID-19. Therefore, we are in no position to claim that our products can be used as a form of protection from COVID-19.
